Emily Wertella, M.ED., BCBA
Emily Wertella is the Behavioral Consultant at our Novi center. She has been working at University Pediatricians Autism Center since 2014. Emily has a bachelor’s of arts in Psychology and Spanish from Eastern Michigan University. She just recently completed her master’s degree in educational psychology and concentration in ABA from Wayne State University. Emily started her career working as a tutor at the Autism Collaborative Center at Eastern Michigan and SPLASH camp. Her favorite things about working with children diagnosed with autism is being able to celebrate the little moments that most people take for granted. Emily’s research interests are sibling and familial social interactions with the child on the spectrum. In her free time, she likes to play with her dog, go to concerts and see live bands, travel, and spend time with her friends and family.
