Geralyn DeBoard, B.S.
Geralyn DeBoard joined the University Pediatricians Autism Center at its inception in 2008. Geri earned a bachelor’s of science degree in art therapy from Bowling Green State University. Geri started her career as a teacher in the Detroit Public School system for a number of years. She then transitioned into the role as a principal in Pontiac Public Schools. Her prior experience as a school principal and teacher was invaluable in the development of our programs and establishing procedures for compliance and quality control. Geri coordinates with payor agencies, staff and families to ensure children receive the appropriate level of treatment. Geri also helps families work through the process of insurance authorization. She loves connecting the families and children diagnosed autism we serve to treatment and education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two boys.
